Talk:Transformers Legends (book)
Transformers Legends also refers to the K*Mart exclusives of Jazz, Grimlock, Bumblebee, and Starscream - effectively their Pretender versions without their shells. - Vanguard
So, I just re-read Fires in the Dark, the infamous 'Beast Wars in Amara's past' story.
...and I realised it's explicitly stated that the Natiltec tribe whose site they find somehow journeyed from one world to another, apparently literally crossing from one continuity to another.
That's cool.-Derik 06:16, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- Hmmm. I had taken that as meaning they journeyed from one location on Earth to another, which to them would seem like going to a new world. --KilMichaelMcC 15:37, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Is it worth pointing out that the book is stupidly hard to come by? Only a few places sell it online, and for at least $30. 76.252.7.19 22:02, 4 June 2009 (EDT)
- Barnes and Nobles (around here anyway) have them in stock. my buddy just picked on up on an impulse buy--Name Violation 19:00, 14 November 2009 (EST)
- That's weird, around here the paperback sat in Dollar General for MANY months (possibly years), even at $1. I bought one for my girlfriend, but have never gotten around to reading it myself. Khajidha 19:08, 14 November 2009 (EST)
Paddles and Geosensus
[edit]I replaced the "Paddles (Story)" link with one going straight to the character page. No need for redundancy. But could someone a little better at this than I am please make a redirect from "Parts" to "Geosensus"? Thanks.--Thylacine 2000 19:25, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
Disclaimer Extermination
[edit]There is no need for every article referencing TFLegends to have a disclaimer saying "this didn't really happen, it's just imaginary and it disagrees and doesn't matter." That is synonymous with a very major chunk of TF fictional media, none of which gets that sort of treatment. We don't say that Optimus Prime "didn't really" get his head cut off by Shockwave, or that Windcharger "didn't really" tear the Dinobots apart with his magnetic powers, or that Megatron "didn't really" drive a big black convertible, or that the Fallen "didn't really" get defeated by being thrown into outer space, etc. etc. --Thylacine 2000 15:12, 5 December 2009 (EST)
Move redirect?
[edit]I think the card game is probably better known now as "Transformers Legends" than a paperback that came out ten years ago and is mostly known as a hot mess of continuity dead ends. I'd suggest that we move the "Transformers Legends" redirect to the mobile game and make this the disambibiguation. -hx 11:34, 21 October 2013 (EDT)
