I want add an italicised note that these guys may be Cybertronians. They had a drastic planetary defense ready in case of Decepticon arrival (blowing up their planet) and they use the same character models as the miners on Master in the flashback where Sixshot kills Chromedome's friend.

I think it's a fairly safe speculation that this is one of the colonies founded by Autobots fleeing the Decepticons. anyone else agree/disagree? -Derik 22:53, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Sounds good to me. Hey, they DO use energon cubes. Although I don't know that just being prepared for a possible Decepticon attack is proof enough - the people of Hive were aware of the Decepticons and their reputation and could recognise them based on the symbol alone, so the Sperititititians could just fall into that group. Here's another one - "Toluin." What's all that about, then? The katakana is トルウィン - To-ro-wi-n. Both the R2 DVD and the ancient list of Headmasters summaries that has been online since man had sex with dinosaurs went with "Toluin," so that's what I've done here. But if "Sperity" comes from "prosperity" (which just popped into my head for the first time when I was writing this article, and really seems right), could there be another romanisation of トルウィン that would come from an appropriate English word? - Chris McFeely 00:03, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Except I'm not sure that how well that works with the Japanese language... "ruin" seems to be transliterated straightly as "ru-i-n", which is not quite sympatico with "ru-wi-n". Conversely, by searching with the katakana you provided, Chris, I turn up "Tolwyn", which (for a lot of the hits) is a Wing Commander character.

I can sort of see where they GOT "Toluin", though - by not interpretting the subscript I, you get "Toruuin". I guess it could be a katakana pun, but that would accuse the Headmaster writers of being clever.

Do you have screenshots of the katakana for these Headmaster planets, Chris? That'd be nice to have. --Monzo 03:05, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

It's all well and good that "planet" and "star" are represented by the same character in Japanese - but they don't use that character. They name of the system is the English phrase, "Twin Star." - Chris McFeely 22:55, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
