I admire the idea here, but I'm somewhat concerned about crediting people in a template. What happens to people with funny titles? 'Assistant editor' and so on? -Derik 16:18, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- It's possible to use #if to hide titles not used in a comic. Just add them to the template as they come up. That's what I did with Template:Comicstory. (Which is currently languishing in Wiki limbo. Hurm.) Interrobang 16:22, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- Actually I was trying to do something like Interrobang's template (which I like more). Can we get that implemented? We can have as many titles as necessary, just make them optional for the template. --MistaTee 17:33, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- It certainly is- so are you going to have a separate #if for every funny title? One to turn 'colorist' into 'colorists' if there's none listed? Or are we going to change the information to fit the template? "An associate editor get credited as 'editor.'" (I'm not criticizing, just raising the issue.) -Derik 17:40, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- Something to include on the info page for the template. To your point, I say any possible plural should have "(s)" - "writer(s), colorist(s), etc. Maybe an IF statement for artist vs. inks, pencils, etc. IMO any associated editors can be included with editors. Anything really specific like "Pat Lee, Self-Appointed God of Dreamwave" can be outside of the template but on the page under "Items of note" if really necessary. --MistaTee 18:35, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Nice to see this updated to Jackpot's suggested format. --FFN 09:13, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
