Template talk:Disambig3

Maybe we don't have to created redirect disambiguation such as Billy (disambiguation) or Jamie (disambiguation)‎, we can just change disambig3 into:

The name or term "{{{2|{{{1}}}}}}" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see [[{{{1}}} (disambiguation)|{{{2|{{{1}}}}}} (disambiguation)]].

(I've used this on other site. So far it works fine.)

So, we only need to use {{disambig3|Bill|Billy}} on Billy's page instead creating "Billy (disambiguation)", which is, um, how to say, usually people wouldn't type so much word for a redirect? --TX55TALK 23:40, 16 March 2010 (EDT)

The form here is certainly much better than having to create new pages and then redirect them to the proper page. Hmm... Would it affect the disambig3.5 code? --Lonegamer78 23:54, 16 March 2010 (EDT)
I just check the disambig3.5, which won't be affected by the change of disambig3, since the two templates are using independent code to each other. --TX55TALK 00:04, 17 March 2010 (EDT)
