After failing the Agorrian pilot Darak from reaching Agorria with the help of Solila, Zalilak traveled to the Temple of Zerta's Light and kneeled. Greeted by Mistress Vill, the Premier expressed his fears that his failure had brought Zertonia to the brink of ruin, but Vill rejected the "flawed" idea of unity being something to fear. While Zalilak was furious at first, Vill quickly knocked him down to the Temple's floor. Void Rivals #13 Vill mocked Zalilak's title of "First Chosen of the Embrace of Zerta", and Zalilak admitted that he was willing to walk the Path of Light. Void Rivals #14
