The Mill

Formed in 1990 in Soho, London. The Mill (formerly known as the generically titled The Visual Effects Company) is a visual effects and animation company primarily serving in the commercial and video game sector. Working on campaigns and advertisements for Wal-Mart, Paramount+, McDonald's, Chevrolet, Energizer, Samsung, Amazon, Ford, and more. Along with animation and trailers for Apex legends and the miniature effects in the first two Harry Potter movies.

The studio is owned by Technicolor Creative Studios, who also own Moving Picture Company.

Relevant to the franchise, the models for Age of Extinction Optimus Prime and Bumblebee's 2018 appearance have been featured in commercials for Direct Line and Sky Cinemas in the UK, and Wal-Mart and Paramount+ in North America. Models of Optimus and Megatron from the Cyberverse toyline were also animated by the company for a different Wal-Mart commercial.
