Transformers Rising was a multiplayer card-based battle game published by Mobage for mobile devices in Chinese-speaking markets. Released for Android devices and iOS devices in mid-2014, the game features much of the early Generation 1 cast, with the campaign including elements from many storylines, similar to the other game, Transformers Legends, also published by Mobage.

Don't worry. This game is also designed to steal money from you. Fans outside of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan aren't missing much. The game was supposedly going to be released in the United States for Android and iOS devices on March 12, 2015. Turns out it was just the special edition English edition for the regions it was already released. A later report stated that the game would never have a Western release.

DeNA announced on November 9, 2015, that the game would shut down on November 30. This did not come to pass, though, and as of December 22, 2015, the game was still online and being updated. On November 30, 2016, Mobage announced the game would "sunset" on December 30, 2016.

Four Million years ago, the civil war in Cybertron broke out. Autobots drove the Ark looking for energy in the universe. Decepticons obtained the message and followed behind. A fierce war was inevitable...{{#if:|{{{quote2}}}}}{{#if:Trailer|Trailer{{#if:|, {{{3}}}|}}|}}

Gameplay

Players must assemble a 3-9 card squad to face off against enemies and fellow players. More slots are unlocked via leveling up. Battles are automatically played out, so the bulk of gameplay is in preparation.

• Frenzy is blue, Rumble is red.
• Arcee has her Aligned color scheme.
• Autobot cassettes are generally weaker than Decepticon cassettes.
• Drift has appeared as a character card name, but there is no way to obtain him in the English version. (In the Chinese version, you just have to spend around the price of a Voyager class toy to get him)
