Urban Renewal Team

The Urban Renewal Team were created on Cybertron by the Last Autobot, after the war with Unicron. Like all the Mini-Cons, their mission was to repair and refortify the planet, bringing it back to the Golden Age from before the war. Unfortunately, not all Mini-Cons enjoyed the idea of sharing Cybertron with the Autobots once they eventually returned. Sledge became a secret convert of Broadside, a Mini-Con gathering his own forces to ensure Cybertron for Mini-Cons...and no one else. In order to achieve that, however, a new order was necessary. Alongside Broadside and the Heavy Hauler Team, the Urban Renewal Team served as personal security for the Mini-Con leader, Modus Prime, during an inspection in Altihex. Following a sudden attack from what appeared to be an insane Autobot, only Broadside and his loyalists, Sledge and Wideload, survived. Forensic evidence would later reveal that Road Hazard had been ripped in half, while Yardarm was taken out by the violent explosion that followed the attack. As the entire thing had been orchestrated by Broadside, it's possible Sledge had helped kill his own teammates. The New World
