The Decepticon mobile fortresses are starships from the Energon portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Decepticon mobile fortresses are starships built from a combination of Unicron and raw energon. The result is a menacing comet-shaped monstrosity. They are used for bombing planets and also double as sources of transports for Terrorcons and Decepticons.

After reviving Scorponok with energon, Alpha Q created a mobile fortress as a means of transporting his Terrorcon troops across the galaxy. When one of the first deployments of Terrorcons returned carrying Tidal Wave, Scorponok retrieved the drifting Decepticon in his mobile fortress and convinced him to join them with a false promise of reviving his fallen leader. The fortress then carried them all to Earth, where they were briefly spotted by Carlos, flying past Mars. The troops aboard the fortress then attacked Desert City. Scorpinok After their previous mission, Scorponok's mobile fortress made it's way to Mars where the Terrorcons made their next attack. Once their raid was completed and the Terrorcons were full, the fortress transported the group back to Unicron to unload their catch.
