Even Transformers Wiki:Policies aside... how does your statement "they need better captions" justify blanking all existing captions? These newly-blank captions are no more-informative than the old ones. They're just absent.

Understand- we would have reverted the article even if you had spent 10 minutes writing dryly-worded descriptive image captions... but you didn't. It's like you're saying to us "No! Bad! Cut cut cut! I don't have the time to come to this site very often, so someone else should replace the the captions with less stupid but still funny ones. I could also care less about how much I contribute. Really, and I mean this in the most friendly way I can, perhaps you are not a good fit for this community and your interests would be better served elsewhere. Less stress for both yourself and us. However I will state that "I don't like this so I'm removing it but it's someone else's job to replace it" is frowned upon in nearly all wikis. The whole point of a wiki is that since you can edit it yourself you might as well finish the job. If you continue in this fashion I can't really think of too many Wikis that will condone your novel approach, and it just means more work for everyone reverting you.--Rosicrucian 15:48, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

I imagine it's also the only wiki you've been to with an article for Blackballs, too. Could it be that we... do things that other wikis don't? See, we're actually able to realise how perposterously anal we're being about a line of toy robots, and make the whole experience of entering dry facts and figures a little FUN. That aside - the caption arguemnt is an old one, it's part of the style guide, so don't come storming in and get all uppity, and decide that you're going to change the popular way of thinking about here by willfully ignoring the rules without even trying to offer a substitute for what you're trying to change. - Chris McFeely 01:31, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
