Dylan Gould's pets
[edit]How many pets does Dylan Gould has? because in Dark of the Moon, when the Chicago invasion began, he mentioned dogs in plural when he ordered their transfer to the back of his apartment in Trump Tower, which means is more than one, and later when his prisioner was observing Megatron and Sentinel through a telescope, it's possible to see two dogs, but i fear that he has more than just two, and more animal species beyond just dogs as pets. If anyone knows how many he has, just type it here the answer. Thanks! --Cybertron Forever (talk) 10:15, 23 November 2020 (EST)
- I'm currently rewatching the film right now and I just wanted to let you know that from what I can see, Dylan only refers to them on-screen as "the dogs". I'll wait until the credits and see If I can find anything else that may make mention of them. If you're serious about making a page for them I think the most suitable name for the page would be Dylan Gould's Dogs. If you would like, I would be more than willing to start the page and the dog actor pages up with the information that we and Abates have found on them. Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 03:15, 8 December 2020 (EST)
- Just thought I'd update you, we've made the pages for the in-film roles and the actors themselves. Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 02:55, 9 December 2020 (EST)
Signing
[edit]- Please type four tildes like this: ~~~~ after each message on a talk page instead of typing your signature yourself. The wiki will automatically code your signature with an accurate timestamp. You'll also find it at the bottom of the screen in the box of templates whenever you make edits to pages under "Sign your name:"
- Thanks. Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 18:29, 27 November 2020 (EST)
- Wow that's an very useful typing tip, thanks! Also did you noticed that i made talked to you in your talk page two days ago? --Cybertron Forever (talk) 17:07, 30 November 2020 (EST)
Deletion of character pages.
[edit]Do not put character pages up for deletion because the same information is on a subgroup page. Subgroup pages are not made for character read ups, only for collective plot references. Subgroup pages are made to have as little information regarding the individuals as possible as the individual character pages are made for that purpose. As for the Twins page, there are still discussions on Discord being carried out on whether or not the page should exist. We admit that it is not very fair on the other users that aren't in the Discord server as the discussions can't be seen by them, but this is the only way we have been able to reply instantly and not have questions that would usually be made in discussion pages being left unanswered. Also, on a side note, please read talk pages on main articles before making any big edits, as there can sometimes be crucial information found there (ie: the Twins page discussion on only have their combined toys listed).
We thank you for your dedication into making pages and edits into things that we have missed. We are all guilty of making mistakes from time to time, so no harm done, that's the beauty of being able to revert and edit things! Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 18:04, 15 December 2020 (EST)
- It's ok, i also make mistakes sometimes, it won't happen again. Thanks! --Cybertron Forever (talk) 21:04, 19 December 2020 (EST)
Before you make any big changes...
[edit]Hello! I've noticed you taking on large projects and performing large edits. In general, before you carry out a task like that, please discuss it either on the Community Portal or our Discord page. I highly recommend the Discord, since you can often talk with other editors in real time! Please do not make decisions to do large edits by using a particular user's talk page (such as abates or Fanofcoolstuff). That won't get you the consensus of other editors. Thank you! Prime Radiant (talk) 18:19, 17 January 2021 (EST)
Changing image captions
[edit]As per our captions policy, you should not be changing image captions written by other users (unless there is a community consensus that a joke is bad/offensive/etc.). Please do not keep changing the caption on the Dino article – consider this a formal warning on the matter. Jalaguy (talk) 16:36, 28 January 2021 (EST)
- Oh come on, why i don't have permition to do this but you guys have? This is not fair! --Cybertron Forever (talk) 00:07, 1 March 2021 (EST)
Talk page edits
[edit]Hi, please don't make small talk page edits to complain no one has responded to you yet. People will respond to your messages when and if they can. --abates (talk) 21:44, 31 January 2021 (EST)
Talk page use
[edit]Please cease using talk pages for trying to start discussions on fan theories you have, they are meant for discussions on improving the page, not fanon. McBaggins (talk) 21:39, 11 February 2021 (EST)
- Okay, i won't do it again. In fact, every mistake i do that everyone talk to me about in my talk page i fix and stop repeating, Prime Radiant once told me to talk about big changes on the community portal, and now i'm doing that. Jalaguy, told me to not change the image captions made other users, so i'm not doing this anymore. Abates told me to not make small edits to complain no one has replied to me, so i'm not doing it. So if i'm saying i won't use talk pages to start discussions my theories, than i won't do it never again. You have my word. --Cybertron Forever (talk) 23:15, 11 February 2021 (EST)

Hi there, first of all I wanted to say that your collaborations to the wiki are very appreciated, but please be a little more careful with your grammar and always proofread your edits before saving them. You frequently mispells the names of characters/movies/TV shows/etc and writes some of their initial letters in lowercase when they should be in uppercase. I also noticed that you sometimes try to translate by yourself the titles of movies and TV shows from their Brazilian titles back to English, when it would take you mere seconds to search the web for their actual original titles and use them instead. And one more tip, the correct spelling is always "a Brazilian" and never "an Brazilian".
Again, you're doing a fine job overall so please don't take this badly, I just want to help you improve your skills before your edits start to be reverted for not being up to standards.--Fritz (talk) 14:40, 19 February 2021 (EST)
Regarding your edits on the Dylan Gould-related pages
[edit]Can you please stop on the undo-edits war? And as the others have said, you're reading a bit too much into it regarding Dylan. --Lonegamer78 (talk) 18:44, 24 February 2021 (EST)
- Sorry if i caused trouble by doing that but the thing is the edits that i've done on those pages are based on what i found out by reading the DOTM novelization and the IDW comic adaptation, and i'm including them here so that they can be more complete. And the reason i'm doing this with them is because i HATE DYLAN GOULD! I hate him so much that just by looking at his face or his bodyguards or his assistant or his dogs, i have the feeling that i gonna have an heart-attack. I only created his assistant's page so that i could create the page about Hotchkiss Gould Investments, since i decided i would create it once the company's most known employees had their pages, and his assistant was the only one who didn't have-it at that time. And i asked about creating an article about his dogs since i couldn't help but to feel sorry for them, from being adopted by an evil human and to be traumatized by hearing the fire that killed all of his body guards in the attack at Trump Tower and surviving the onslaught just like how Dylan did. I know that what i said about his body guards dying in the slaughter sounds like speculation, but read the parts where i talked to Abates and Fanocoolstuff27 in their talk pages to learn more. And i'm still talking with them about it, in fact i found more evidences about that fact in the novelization and comic adaptation themselves and i'll tell this to them later. --Cybertron Forever (talk) 19:17, 24 February 2021 (EST)
- If you hate Dylan so much maybe you should consider not editing his page anymore. --Fritz (talk) 20:06, 24 February 2021 (EST)
- I want to stop, but first i need to include every single info about him and everything related to him that everyone here are still glossing over. Exemple: in the novel and comic adaptation Dylan ordered Soundwave to execute the Autobot prisoners just because Bumblebee destroyed his apartment. --Cybertron Forever (talk) 20:16, 24 February 2021 (EST)
- That you want to add info to the wiki about Gould and his company is fine. In regards to you "hating" Gould, like Fritz said, you would be better off of not editing his page in the future, because those recent edits aren't contributing anything substantive to the wiki. --Lonegamer78 (talk) 20:26, 24 February 2021 (EST)
- I will stop, i just need to make this edit about this detail in her page that his assistant was killed after the party where he revealed to Sam Witwicky that he works for the Decepticons, that in the novel and comic he ordered Soundwave to kill the prisoners because of what Bumblebee did to his apartment, and that his body guards died in the slaughter that occurred in Trump Tower and i'm done with it. His assistant's death is obvious since she is a human collaborator and in the movie Megatron ordered them to kill all the collaborators in the moment set in africa, but his body guards' deaths is gonna be hard to convince, since almost everyone on this wiki don't believe that, only Renato, my parents, our friends from college before Renato and i got married and the members from our transformers' fan club do believe that, specially because they're the one who showed me evidences of their deaths in the novelization and IDW comic adaptation, so before i do those edits, i'll talk to Abates and Fanocoolstuff27 first. --Cybertron Forever (talk) 22:23, 24 February 2021 (EST)
- This is still just speculation. She doesn't appear any further in the film past the big reveal of working with the Decepticons. Please stop trying to convince us of speculative information that isn't displayed in any media. The wiping out of collaborators took place at the beginning-to-mid section of the film, Dylan Gould's revelation takes place in the mid-to-end section. There is absolutely no evidence that Dylan's workers were killed as part of Laserbeak/Soundwave/any other Decepticon's assassinations, nor Bumblebee's gun fire on the apartment. Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 22:40, 24 February 2021 (EST)
- I'm not trying to convince anyone with theories, i'm telling what i know and learned. They were killed because they're collaborators and Megatron ordered them to kill all of them, his assistant was probably killed after the party just happening off-screen and as i read in the answers to my questions in his company's talk page we can only include facts established onscreen, so i won't edit her page, but his body guards did died, because we saw them panicking when Bumblebee opened fire at the apartment and he did that because he felt that they should all pay for their crimes with their lives, besides as i'm saying a lot of times on Fanocoolstuff27 and Abates pages, besides that there is the superhero movie clichê where the villain and all of his henchmen are standing still, witnessing the hero escape after saving the one they love, and that happened in the film in the form of Dylan approaching the edge of his apartment after the fire was over and as we could see, no body guards where with him to see the Orbital Assault Carrier falling from the sky, nor they were with him when he approached 35 East Wacker to inform about the Autobots' survival and didn't even shown their disgustingly ugly faces when Dylan ordered Soundwave to kill the prisoners. Last but no least, in the DOTM novelization Dylan survived the onslaught by throwing himself backward, hitting the floor on the opposite side of the living room from where the fire was occuring, and at the time Bumblebee opened fire, everyone inside Trump Tower where on the room that was obliterated by the guns' bullets (that's the evidence that confirms the deaths of his bodyguards that comes from the novelization that i mentioned before. I was going ti write this in Abates and Fanocoolstuff27's talk pages, but because of what he wrote to answer me, i decided to do it here). Fanocoolstuff27, if you're reading this and think that what my last is all invented by me, go read the novel and you'll see that it's written like this quote: 'The guns aboard the fighter plane cut loose, strafing the penthouse apartment, blasting Laserbeak against the wall. Dylan threw himself backward, hitting the floor on the opposite side of the living room from Carly. He let out a scream and cowered behind a Louis XIV chair. The guns stopped firing. Carly, sensing her moment, jumped to her feet and bolted for the balcony.' If you still don't believe i don't care, because the ugly truth is: His assistant and body guards weren't supposed to exist in the movie, since in the earlier versions of the movie's script, which is can be read and seen in all of it's adaptation material, they don't even exist, meaning that by the time he revealed to Sam that he works for the Decepticons, Dylan is the only collaborator to still be alive. They only exist in the movie because Michael Bay wanted that way and he does whatever he wants when he's directing a blockbuster movie. --Cybertron Forever (talk) 18:53, 26 February 2021 (EST)
- I feel like we're going in circles here. Don't know about you guys but I quit. --Fritz (talk) 22:06, 26 February 2021 (EST)
- Unless you can show us actual text that says that these people were killed, or actual footage from the movie showing it, or another character in the movie saying specifically that these people were killed, then you cannot say that they were killed. Anything else is just your speculation. They may have been killed. Or they may have run off to Costa Rica and opened an ice cream parlor. We don't know. We can't say. --Khajidha (talk) 22:35, 26 February 2021 (EST)

- That's what i tried to explain Khajidha, they may have been killed off screen, the last time his assistant appeared was while Dylan asked "You why we didn't returned to the moon after 1972?", and the last time his bodyguards appearead was right when 'Bee opened fire at the apartment, but because of what what in those scenes and no one in the film asking what happened to them (which i think was good because i hate his assistant and bodyguards too) then there fates are up to interpretation, which means you like me can think they died while others can think they're alive since none of them are wrong. Despite DOTM being my favorite movie of all 5 movies that Michael Bay directed (even being better than the first), i think that Bay jumped the shark when he decided to include these guys and make leave their fates the way it was shown, as this is causing this trouble to the wiki that i began in December of last year with this heated conversation that's taking months and people claiming "its a theory" or "it's fanfiction" or what the slag anyone here want to say. In the end i think it's better their fates to be up to one's Personal canon, and i think they shouldn't have never appeared in first place, which is something that the original version of the script did well, (it can be seen and read in the novels and comic adaptation). --Cybertron Forever (talk) 23:26, 26 February 2021 (EST)
- "May have been" = your speculation. Such speculation does not belong on the page. You can believe that they died, but you must not write anything about that here. Your beliefs are just that, your beliefs. The only thing causing trouble here is you trying to put your beliefs in the articles as if they were facts. When you write about what happens in the movie, you should write only what is shown in the movie. If that means that some characters don't have resolutions to their story, that's fine. Write what they were shown to do and stop writing when you get to the last thing they were shown to do. --Khajidha (talk) 23:33, 26 February 2021 (EST)

- In Dark of the Moon, Dylan answered the phone and said "I'm watching him drive up right now." and it was because of that call that Dutch managed to hack into his phone and triangulate his location, and what buggs me in this part (which took me a lot of nights without sleeping when i was younger) is who called him to talk with him on the phone? I know i promise i wouldn't use talk pages to ask questions that i want to be answered, but this is something that's killing me out of curiosity. In fact not even my husband knows the answer. --Cybertron Forever (talk) 00:07, 1 March 2021 (EST)
- The wiki has been around for a long time. It needs some things. It does not need other things. At least a dozen people have weighed in, so in case it's not clear, let me tell you one thing the wiki does not need.
- The wiki.
- Does not.
- I repeat.
- Does not.
- Need any more information about Dylan Gould.
- It does not need multi-page-long rants about minutiae about a supporting character in one movie.
- Many people have weighed in. It's time to move on.
- Please leave Dylan Gould behind.
- Here's something that you could do to help: Brazilian voice actors! Those changes are helpful! More of those, please! Prime Radiant (talk) 00:47, 1 March 2021 (EST)
Warning regarding your edits on the Dylan Gould-related pages
[edit]Consider this a second formal warning. Please stop trying to force your speculation into any pages involving Dylan Gould, or you will be temporarily blocked from editing. You have been told multiple times by both other editors and some of the admin to stop doing so. Do not make any more edits regarding Dylan Gould, or his watchdogs, or his assistants, or on any other pages that even mentions Dylan Gould. Speculation is speculation, and the wiki can not accept anything that is speculation - the wiki only accepts official materials and interviews that can be cited. We understand your zeal, but there comes a stopping point. As Prime Radiant pointed out, your help with the Brazilian voice actors is much more appreciated. --Lonegamer78 (talk) 07:31, 1 March 2021 (EST)
- I know about that, and i'll stop doing that, but first i want to know, who called him to talk to him on his phone when he arrived at his apartment in Trump Tower? Because he told to the caller that he could see Megatron coming, and it was because of him answering the call that Dutch managed to hack into his phone and track him down. I know you told me to not use talk pages to ask about questions, but that is killing me out of curiosity and not even Renato knows the answer. --Cybertron Forever (talk) 11:13, 1 March 2021 (EST)

- Since the day you guys threaten to block me if i did it again, i stopped editing those pages and moved on. In fact, the last time i edited those pages was almost one month ago. I haven't edited them ever since then. In the Ask Vector Prime talk page, i just said that i i was disapointed to find out that that the Tumblr version is fanmade because i wanted to ask him those questions for him to answer, so i just said that i'll wait until his "official" return so that i can ask him. I know i inserted the links to their pages on my reply, but i did that because i like to add links to articles when i'm talking to anyone about something here on the Wiki. Besides, i only mentioned them, nothing else. In other words, when said i wasn't going to do it again, i made a promise, and when i make one, i keep it. And Riptide blocked me just because i mentioned them. Am i also forbidden to mention them in talk pages? Because i feel this the "real" reason why she (or he) blocked me! Since i didn't made any edits to those pages yesterday, nor today/tonight. --Cybertron Forever (talk) 22:23, 19 March 2021 (EDT)
- Well, then i guess i really diseverd that. However, nobody told me that i wasn't allowed to menton Dylan and/or his dogs or his assistant (you guys should stop writting assistant in plural because he has only one in the film) or his bodyguards or anyone and/or anything related to him outside of their talk pages, the only thing you guys told me was to not edit those pages. That was the only thing you said about it, nothing else, if you didn't wanted me to mention them outside of their talk pages, then you should have told me about it, so would be more careful to not mention them in in my replies on the Ask Vector Prime talk page yesterday. Since as said before, i never break any promises that i make, and i made a promise when i said i would stop doing it. This time, however, i accidently broke my promise because i did something i wasn't allowed without knowing that i wasn't allowed to do, since you all ommited it from me. Sorry and thank you for reading! --Cybertron Forever (talk) 14:00, 20 March 2021 (EDT)

Yes, i read his post above, but i've only understood that i should ask questions about him at fan forums, since they exist to debate about whether something happened or not. I didn't know that also meant i shouldn't mention them outside of their talk pages. Besides i didn't asked a single question about them in the Ask Vector Prime talk page anyway, i only said that the questions i want to ask to Vector Prime once he returns in an official way rather than an fan project are if his assistant was killed before the Decepticons raided Chicago and if Dylan's body guards where murdered in Trump Tower before the battle of Chicago in Tyran 707.04 Delta. Beyond that, nothing, i didn't asked what happened to them there, just told what are the questions i want to ask him when he comes back. --Cybertron Forever (talk) 15:54, 20 March 2021 (EDT)
