User talk:Fannus Maximus
I like to add quotes. Fannus Maximus 14:50, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- As part of our policy, we require people to improve the wiki in other ways, before adding quotes. (See point 3 on the help page.) Adding humor is a privilege, not a right. If all you do is add quotes, we'll revert your changes.
- Also, adding captions to a talk page is pointless and inappropriate. Talk pages aren't for humor, they're for discussing how to improve the real pages. JW 15:57, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- Got it. When I said quotes, I meant quotes from episodes on the episode's page. Which I plan to do for a couple of Cybertron episodes......eventually. Fannus Maximus 16:03, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- "I meant quotes from episodes on the episode's page."
- Ah, gotcha. My mistake. JW 16:15, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
About talk pages
[edit]Editing somebody else's post on a talk page for any reason besides fixing formatting is a Bad Thing. --FortMax 15:51, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Huh? You mean the aqua joke? Sorry. Didn't know. Fannus Maximus 15:55, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Anything wrong with this fan art?
[edit]I know fan art's not allowed, but there is someone else (ItsHockey or something like that, I think. Not sure.) who has fan art on their user page. So, is it okay for me? Fannus Maximus 16:19, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- Fan art is only bad when used on articles, not on userpages.--RosicrucianTalk 16:21, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Great! So anybody here know this other guy who's name I can't completely remember? Fannus Maximus 16:25, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Oh, joy.
[edit]I misspelled my own name. Fannus Maximus 16:50, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Don't Bother me.
[edit]I'm watching Beast Wars on YouTube so don't try to contact me cuz' I won't answer for a while (20 min?).
- FM, if you're looking for someplace to chat with people about Transformers, you're in the wrong place. This is a reference document. We only use Talk pages to make decisions about the wiki, work out disagreements, decide on policies, and educate newbies.
- All we care about is whether you're making good contributions or bad contributions. If you make good contributions to this wiki, the most "chat" you can ever expect is "thank you for X" on your Talk page, and probably not even that. If you make bad contributions, you'll see a lot of "cut that out". And you might eventually get banned.
- So, while you can post whatever you want on your Talk page, keeping us informed of your movements minute-by-minute is pointless. JW 17:08, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Wow. Krem's done alot of baaaad stuff. Thank you for telling me that. Fannus Maximus 17:18, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
