As it says on our help page, getting to write image captions is meant to be a sort of reward for the people who actually put in the work and improve the article by adding relevant content or images or whatever else it needs. If you're only here to add jokes without actually taking the time to make meaningful improvements to the wiki, you're better off going somewhere else. Similarly, it's also considered very rude to replace existing captions, because that means you're removing the contributions of someone who has been putting in the work when you yourself have not. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 09:57, 4 October 2022 (EDT)
- When i did put in the work on the many deaths of optimus prime it was deleted and replaced by somebody else's which was almost exactly the same. i am sorry for being insulting to you for contributing the only thing I've got. which is jokes by the way. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Magnoburst (talk • contribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.
- Those edits were reverted because they were filled with grammatical errors and broken links, missing basic formatting like storylinks, and written in an out-of-universe style unlike the rest of the page. At a bare minimum, we expect our users to proofread their own contributions using the preview button to make sure things are spelled correctly, that links are going to the right pages, etc. The reason we link that welcome template at the top when you first join is so you can learn about all our policies and make sure your edits fit our manual of style. Ultimately, however, we are still meant to be informative first and foremost, so if you're not planning to contribute much except jokes, you may want to do that elsewhere. Not trying to be mean or anything, just stating the facts. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 10:37, 4 October 2022 (EDT)
Stop changing "dour" to "four" on the Dawn of the Predacus page. It is not a typo. "Dour" is a real word. It means "sad", and rhymes with "hour". --Sabrblade (talk) 14:18, 20 October 2022 (EDT)
- ah my mistake. apologies. could we change it to a more well known word such as somber?
- Not fixating. this issue was resolved a week ago and was not brought up again afterward.--Magnoburst
