Considering this is your first edit ever, this isn't the best way to go about it. Completely changing the tone just because it isn't to your personal liking isn't a very good first impression to make. If you have issues with the tone, I suggest you start up a discussion on the article's talk page and see if a general consensus can be reached. --Detour 01:07, 18 March 2010 (EDT)
- fact is I've been editing over the years and adding useful tid bits here and there, but the wiki just can't seem to hold a proper account. so I start a new and get treated like a punk. gratitude for ya.
- And yeah, the tone really isn't to my liking. Derek J Wyatt puts down Beachcomber and everyone treats it as canon that the character is not well liked. well I like him! And think the article should be more even handed.
- So tell me, how am I supposed to get started here? I can't edit "the funny" as I've been told the last time I tried a permanent account, I can't help to rewrite an article, what do you want from me? When to I earn the right to call out the Beach Comber page for being offensive? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Stly92 (talk • contribs).
- Well, like I said, discuss it on the Beachcomber article's talk page. You can actually do that right now, you don't have to "earn the right". (Also, the negativity towards Beachcomber far predates Derrick Wyatt's negative comments.) --Detour 01:20, 18 March 2010 (EDT)
- Also, we're not like Wikipedia on maintaining neutral tone. --Lonegamer78 01:32, 18 March 2010 (EDT)
