Wild Rider is a Decepticon or Autobot from the movie continuity family (via the Speed Stars line).
"Tell me, are you crunchy and tasty with mustard?"

Wild Rider (aka Wildrider) is a Decepticon who was once sent by Megatron to infiltrate the Autobot ranks. Whether he is an explosions enthusiast or a missile-shooting hooligan remains to be seen.

In Tyran 511.0 Kappa, Wild Rider managed to successfully elude Cemetery Wind. Once Optimus Prime put out a call to remaining Autobots to gather, he and Axel answered out of desperation. Though the Autobots remained skeptical of their true intentions, they learned to appreciate Wild Rider, who in turn remained loyal to the Autobot cause even after Galvatron revealed himself and went on a rampage. Bumblebee Movie Prequel

Wildrider was one of the many Cybertronians who made their way to Earth, arriving alongside his fellow Decepticons Diabla and Runabout. The trio fell in with Konrad Gotell's E.I.D.O.L.O.N. crime syndicate, and in 1964, they became aware that a different group of Decepticons had been manipulating both E.I.D.O.L.O.N. and the British intelligence agency known as P.R.O.G.R.A.M.M.E., led by the diminutive Malignus. Wildrider was deployed to East Berlin, where he intercepted and captured David Reeve as he escaped from Gotell's exploding officer after discovering that Malignus had already disposed of Gotell. Before Wildrider could personally dispose of Reeve, he was tackled by Reeve's ally Bumblebee, who threw him through the Berlin Wall and killed him with a chunk of rubble. The Man with the Golden Car

Wild Rider is a small, non-transforming, die-cast sports car with his robot mode sculpted underneath. He has huge wheels to allow the toy to roll upside down, and they use through-axle construction that lets the toy zip around at high speeds on smooth surfaces.

Actually is a sports car, mistaken by the Decepticons for a very shy and lazy Speed Star. This happens more than they'd like to admit.
  • As Wild Rider's toy had no insignias and in-package pictures never surfaced, it wasn't actually confirmed that he was a Decepticon until his packaging art showed up on the Indigo Studios website. Still, it was a pretty safe bet, as the name "Wildrider" has only ever been applied to Decepticons.
  • Wild Rider's sculpted robot mode details appear to be based on the Classics Rodimus toy. This was presumably intentional!
