'''Icepick''' has no respect for his elders. Or, in fact, for anyone less technologically-advanced than himself and his fellow [[combiner]]s.  He believes they're fit for the scrap heap, and he's only too happy to send them there himself; outmoded [[Autobot]]s and Decepticons alike had best steer clear of this frigid fanatic.

Later, after his combiner team was destroyed, he desperately sought another partner. He may despise humans greatly, but his alliance with the human traitor, [[Sergeant Chaos]], provides him with the assistance and information he requires. Together, they attacked [[Sideswipe (Movie)|Sideswipe]] on icy roads! However, Chaos isn't his only partner, as he also operates with the Decepticon [[Mini-Con]] [[Chainclaw (PCC)|Chainclaw]] who helps his [[Bulk]] cause massive destruction!

He transforms into a snowmobile that any Human Alliance "human" figure can ride, as well as a "hoverbike" mode with a gigantic frickin' chainsaw hanging off the front. This mode can also be used as a weapon by any figure that uses [[5 mm post|5mm peg-holes]]. He comes with two [[c joint]] weapons which can be attached to weapon-mounting bars located on the back and on the skis of the vehicle, which end up near his hands and chest, respectively. His head is rather pointedly based on a hockey goalie's mask, although he does appear to have a 'genuine' face under the transparent purple plastic of his visor.  He comes with his human partner [[Sergeant Chaos]]. His 5mm peg has a tiny hole in it which is the exact size to allow a [[Mini-Con]] to combine with him.

While "Icepick" works about as well for either robot, the Commander ''is'' the one with "chains" (his treads) and claws. "Chainclaw" even would have worked for his ''second'' toy, as a play on his chain''s''aw mode.
* Due to the vague continuity of the ''Power Core Combiners'' line, the case for ''Power Core Combiners'' Icepick and ''[[Transformers: Dark of the Moon (toyline)|Dark of the Moon]]'' Icepick being the same guy was not airtight, and for a time it was possible that the former could have been a new body for [[Icepick (G1)|Generation 1 Icepick]]. The Facebook edition of [[Ask Vector Prime]] eventually confirmed that the toys represented the same type of character (in most universes, anyway). 
* Oddly enough, the reference in Icepick's ''Dark of the Moon'' bio to his combiner team being destroyed is also the only place it's ever been mentioned to exist in the first place. It's unclear whether this is an unseen [[Power Core Combination|set of drones]], an equally-unseen [[movie continuity]] counterpart to the [[Pretender Monster]]s, or just some copywriter misremembering which assortment his previous toy was in.
