Along with the rest of the Heavy Hauler Team, Steel-Belt accompanied [[Modus Prime]], [[Broadside (Classics)|Broadside]], and the [[Urban Renewal Team]] to [[Altihex]]'s abandoned [[energon]] refinery.  There, they were attacked by what appeared to be a deranged [[Autobot]]—in actuality, however, it was a cobbled-together killing machine remotely controlled by Broadside.  In the ensuing chaos, Steel-Belt was crushed by a collapsing storage tank and died.  {{storylink|The New World}}

Along with the rest of the Heavy Hauler Team, Steel-Belt accompanied Modus Prime, Broadside, and the Urban Renewal Team to Altihex's abandoned energon refinery. There, they were attacked by what appeared to be a deranged Autobot—in actuality, however, it was a cobbled-together killing machine remotely controlled by Broadside.
