- This component is absent in Ironhide and Ratchet's character models, where the robot transforms directly into the whole vehicle. The robot mode itself was extensively redesigned, giving these characters a very low degree of toy-accuracy.
- This component is not mentioned in the text of the characters' bios, Universe profiles, or More than Meets the Eye profiles, but it is included in the artwork.
