The name or term "Powerglide" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Powerglide (disambiguation).
Powerglide is an Autobot from the Animated continuity family.
"I may not fly, but at least I'm the right color!"

Powerglide may just transform into a truck himself, but he still lives up to his name when it comes to piloting aircraft. During the Great War, he was one of the best fighter pilots among the Autobots and an expert on aerial acrobatics, though he had a bad habit of showing off rather than fighting properly. After the war ended, Powerglide continued his line of work as a civilian pilot.

Notes

[edit]
  • Powerglide transforms into a treaded ground vehicle[1]. A Cybertronian truck, to be more precise. This would be in keeping with the "Autobots don't fly" motif, just like how Highbrow also converts to a ground vehicle despite his original series namesake's aerial alternate mode.
  • This model was used as the basis for Animated Air Raid.
