Powerglide may just transform into a truck himself, but he still lives up to his name when it comes to piloting aircraft. During the Great War, he was one of the best fighter pilots among the Autobots and an expert on aerial acrobatics, though he had a bad habit of showing off rather than fighting properly. After the war ended, Powerglide continued his line of work as a civilian pilot.

During the Great War, Powerglide showed his piloting skills deploying an Autobot force on Hydrax Plateau in the middle of a very bad looking battle. Most of the troops in this battle were killed by Oil Slick's Cosmic Rust. Bots of Science

[edit]- Powerglide transforms into a treaded ground vehicle[1]. A Cybertronian truck, to be more precise. This would be in keeping with the "Autobots don't fly" motif, just like how Highbrow also converts to a ground vehicle despite his original series namesake's aerial alternate mode.
