The Zeonomicon (ゼオノミコン) is the "key" to Logos Prime's power.
Fiction
[edit]Beast Wars Reborn
[edit]
As part of his contest to see who would be his "heir", Logos Prime, now Soundblaster, revealed the Zeonomicon. He sent it flying to Animatron, where Optimus Primal and Megatron were tasked with hunting it down. Connecting it to their systems would complete the rite of succession. Planetfall
Cybertron cartoon
[edit]The Zeonomicon was utilized as Vector Prime's personal Cyber Key. It featured all four symbols because, as guardian of space and time, he belonged to no one planet in particular.
Ask Vector Prime
[edit]Vector Prime stated that his Cyber Key was originally the Zeonomicon, created by Solus Prime for Logos Prime. After Logos Prime went mad, he infused it with some of his essence and used it to commit mayhem. Vector Prime found it necessary to confiscate the Zeonomicon from him. Inherently changeable, the relic manifests itself as a Cyber Key when operating in Aurex universal streams. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/07/30

Toys
[edit]Cybertron
[edit]
- Vector Prime (Voyager Class, 2005)
- Takara ID number: GC-03
- Cyber Key Code: v38g
- Known designers: Aaron Archer and Eric Siebenaler (Hasbro), Takashi Kunihiro (TakaraTomy), Hirofumi Ichikawa (detailing)
- The Zeonomicon is a fictional expansion of Transformers: Cybertron Vector Prime's Cyber Key. It was released in Japan with silver paint and in Hasbro markets without it. The South Korean Mocom Toy version of Takara Vector Prime replaces the silver paint of his Cyber Planet Key with a light gray.
- The Cyber Key was also used to create BotCon 2007 Alpha Trion's key accessory.
- Starscream vs. Vector Prime (Multi-pack, 2005)
- Cyber Key Code: v38g
- Vector Prime's Cyber Key also came in a Toys"R"Us exclusive set along with Vector Prime (duh) and a new-deco version of the Voyager-class Starscream mold. This version of the Zeonomicon (and Vector) is identical to the normal Hasbro release.

- Galaxy Force Vector Prime (Voyager, 2006)
- Cyber Key Code: vz74
- Known designers: Eric Siebenaler (Hasbro)
- Not to be confused with the Galaxy Force release of Vector Prime, Hasbro's "Galaxy Force Vector Prime" is a matte gold & clear-orange redeco of Vector Prime released in the eighth and final wave of Cybertron Voyagers, the only new toy in that assortment. This version of Vector's Cyber Key is cast in amber plastic with bright silver paint overlay similar to the original Japanese release. The packaging photography shows the prototype as considerably more blinged out than the rather yellowish matte gold plastic actually used for the production run.
Universe (2008)
[edit]
- Vector Prime with Mini-Con Safeguard! (Voyager, 2009)
- Series: Cybertron Series
- Known designers: Andrew Scribner (deco artist)
- Vector Prime was re-released in the fourth wave of the 2008 Universe series Voyagers, redecoed in black, brown, and blue. The Zeonomicon is again cast in amber, this time with no paint.
Legacy
[edit]
- Cybertron Universe Vector Prime (Voyager, 2024)
- Known designers: Mark Maher (Hasbro), Yūya Ōnishi (TakaraTomy)[1]
- Part of the third wave of Legacy United, Legacy Vector Prime includes a new version of the Zeonomicon cast in translucent blue sans paint a la its original Hasbro release. Like most Cybertron-derived Legacy figures with Cyber Keys, it is only there as a callback to its functionality on the original toy, not activating any gimmicks. The Zeonomicon is inserted in a different location than as before, as it doesn't plug into his waist like his original toy, instead attaching to his chest (presumably to not block his new waist articulation). Alternatively, it can also be inserted into a slot on Vector Prime's backpack or mounted on the hilt of the figure's included sword for storage.
- Vector Prime was revealed on the April 25 fanstream, with pre-orders going up later that day.
Notes
[edit]- "Zeonomicon" is a based on "theonomy" and "theory",[2] as Logos Prime is the guardian of logic;[3] the similarity to "Necronomicon" is coincidental.[4]

[edit]- ↑ April 25, 2024's Hasbro Pulse Transformers Fanstream | April 2024 on YouTube, with Ben MacCrae, Mark Maher and Evan Brooks.
- ↑ The reason for the Z is because Japanese transliterates the voiceless dental fricative (the /th/ sound) as /s/, such as seorī (セオリー) for "theory". The /s/ consonant is further adjusted by being voiced, becoming /z/. Since English doesn't really spell the voiced dental fricative (the /th/ in "this") differently to the voiceless form, it lacks a real option to Romanize this change in Latin characters. No Ðeonomicon for you, sorry.
