*"Mega Hauler" is also the name of a transporter truck from the ''Hot Wheels'' toyline by Hasbro's competitor Mattel, which is still [https://shop.mattel.com/products/hot-wheels-hw-mega-hauler-truck-ckc09 listed on the Mattel website] as of this writing, complete with a ™ claim. How this doesn't immediately cause a massive [[trademark]] conflict is anyone's guess.
*Similar to the rest of Tonkanator's components, Mega Hauler has no bio, tech specs or team name.

  • Tonkanator (Multi-pack, 2022)
Collaborative Mega Hauler is a yellow-and-black Tonka-branded redeco of The Transformers Long Haul, transforming into a Hitachi DH321 mining dump truck. The dumping tray is articulated, but due to the design, the forward lip of the tray (which hangs over the cab of the truck) is not actually connected to the tray itself, and the rear wheels go up with it. Don't even mention the splitting of the bed for transformation. In contrast to the majority of truck mode Transformers toys, Mega Hauler has dual rear wheels, which allows the figure to roll more easily. The "Missile Mount" and "Wing" can be attached to the toy's vehicle mode to create an "Attack Truck" mode.
Mega Hauler was available in a Target-exclusive six-robot gift set with Power Digger, Motor Load, Autobot Skyhook, Motormix, and Autobot Mega Dozer, all of whom can combine to form Tonkanator; Mega Hauler serves as the super robot's lower torso. This set was officially revealed and put up for pre-order on June 24, 2022.
