This pyramid is not the Great Pyramid of Giza. It is the pyramid of Khafre, which sits on the Giza plateau slightly elevated and thus appears to be taller than the Great Pyramid nearby. This is a common misunderstanding, and while it is a pyramid and also pretty great, it is not Khufu's pyramid and thus not the Great Pyramid at all.
:Hmm, it's not identified as the Great Pyramid in the film, but it is in some associated media (the Glu mobile game, for instance - I don't have the novelisation). I guess if we move it, we can note that some places it's referred to as the Great Pyramid, even though that's inaccurate. --[[User:Abates|abates]] 21:02, 9 September 2012 (EDT)
