[edit]

The Scoutforce were guards at Garrus-7, where Devil Gigatron was held after his defeat by the Autobots. Dissatisfied with the bureaucracy of the prison and his dead-end job, the warden, Armored Corps, fell for Gigatron's charisma, turning over to the Predacons. Among the prison staff he recruited were the Scoutforce. Devil Gigatron dispatched Scoutjet and Stealth Bomber to the Dark Nebula to convince the entity Devil Z to assist their cause. Apparently they succeeded as Devil Gigatron was upgraded by Devil Z to Gigatron Z. Breaking free, Gigatron Z led the Predacons on a rampage, eventually facing against Fire Convoy and his troops. Whatever happened, it probably didn't end well for the Predacons as Armored Corps ended up in Axiom Nexus. Spacewarp's Log (1), 2015/10/27

Scoutjet is a reissue of Beast Wars Autojetter. Scoutjet transforms into an [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}F/A-18|{{#if:F/A-18 fighter jet|F/A-18 fighter jet|F/A-18}}]] with a trio of pressure-launch missiles in each wing (activated by a sliding lever), which become his arms in robot mode. Like Scoutlauncher, he has a three-setting switch that changes how the toy reacts to being rolled on a smooth surface. In the center setting, it rolls free in whichever mode it is in. The other two activate the toy's auto-transforming gimmick; with the switch to the left, the toy transforms from robot to jet when rolled forward (and back when rolled in reverse), while the right position transforms him from jet to robot when rolled forward (and back when in reverse).
Scoutjet was only available in a "Scoutforce" multipack with Scoutslasher, Scoutstinger, and Scoutlauncher.

Notes

[edit]
  • While Scoutjet comes in an Autobot-labeled box, he retains all of his Predacon insignia.
