Hall of Fame 2018

2018 was the ninth year of the Transformers Hall of Fame. Fans had the opportunity to vote in two categories: favorite character and favorite toy. Blackarachnia and Battletrap won the vote and were inducted along with comic writer and editor John Barber.

Nomination process

Between June 11th and June 29th, Transformers fan sites held individual polls to determine the nominees for the final ballot. Sites which participated included the Allspark, TFW2005, TFormers, Seibertron, Unicron.com, BWTF, and TFWiki.net. The voting to decide the final inductees was held via on the official Transformers Facebook page starting on July 7 — as in 2016 and 2017, votes were made by commenting on the post and listing hashtags corresponding to the characters:

The results were announced during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2018.
