Thunder-Clash is a member of the Dark Skies Patrol. Although not having undergone the Beast Upgrade, he's apparently still a weasel.

[edit]Thunder-Clash and his Dark Skies Patrol served under Erector in contested Tesarus during the Grand Uprising. When the Pack began an artillery bombardment of their position, the Dark Skies took to the air to locate the guns. Despite some dogfighting with the Resistance beasts, they managed to pinpoint the artillery guns and call back the position to Erector. Derailment

- Available only with his larger partner Armada Skywarp, Thunderclash transforms into a Cybertronic gunship. As a Mini-Con, he has a "Powerlinx" socket on the underside of his nosecone which allows him to attach to any toy with a "Powerlinx" style 5 mm post; some toys have special Powerlinx posts that activate/unlock gimmicks when a Mini-Con is attached.
- His jet mode can be attached to the underside of Skywarp's jet-mode nosecone for storage, and "launched" by pressing down on Skywarp's cockpit canopy. The placement of his Powerlinx port also makes it possible for him to activate Skywarp's rear-mounted cannons without getting in their way.
- Skywarp and Thunderclash were not part of Takara's normal retail Legends of the Microns line, but were released in Japan as a Toys"R"Us-exclusive "USA Edition" toy, in Hasbro packaging with Japanese stickers to relay important legal information.
