This article is about the partners to Toaster. For the Decepticon drone, see Autoscout.
The Crusticons are Autobots from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Toaster likes Toast.

As part of the Autobot Covert Surveillance Team, you'd butter believe Toaster is only assigned missions that knead utmost secrecy. But when his hiding in plain sight just won't cut it, he ejects his Auto-Scouts—autonomous Mini-Cassette-like robots bread for infiltration. Their small size allows them to pop up when you yeast expect them, and they're capable of hacking into surveillance systems; maybe they can jam the feeds when things go aw-rye.

Once word of these little bread bots spread to G.I. Joe, General Hawk nicknamed them the Crusticons in disbeloaf. (Sorry.)

[edit]

Following unsubstantiated rumours that neither G.I. Joe nor the Autobots could corroborate, Toaster and Blackcat went on a covert mission to Silent Castle in Trans-Carpathia, where they discovered that Decepticon leader Megatron had survived the crash landing of the Ark in the Canadian wilderness and entered into an intergalactic arms deal with ruthless terrorist organization Cobra and its leader, Cobra Commander. Blackcat generated a power surge to fry the kitchen utilities in the Cobra stronghold, allowing Toaster and his Crusticons to infiltrate. With the Crusticons tapped into the base's internal video feeds, Blackcat reviewed the footage and recorded any evidence of Megatron's collusion with Cobra, sending the data as an anonymous tip-off to the United States Department of Defense.
