Like the rest of his sword-wielding Predacon teammates, Tantrum also carries a sword. In his case, it's an electro-sword, which is perpetually sheathed in a web of powerful electric bolts that can disable his prey in addition to being sharp and pointy. Owie.

Insecticon overkill extraordinaire Barrage also packs an electro sword of his own. He mostly just uses it to hack your body into itty-bitty pieces after he’s shot you in the face five times.

The Transformers

[edit]
The Transformers Barrage came with a yellow weapon, identified in his instructions as an electro sword.

Tantrum came with a gold sword, labelled in his instructions as an electro sword, further hyphenated in his packaging bio as an "electro-sword". This toy was also available in a Predaking giftset, which was reissued in 2004 and redecoed for further releases in 2010 and 2017.

Splashdown came with a gray sword accessory, identified as an electron-sword in his instructions, and as an electro-sword in his packaging bio.

Notes

[edit]
  • Possibly due to the writers not having access to the toy's instructions, Barrage's electro sword was switched out for an energo-sword in his Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye profile.
  • It's safe to assume that ether Splashdown's instructions or his packaging bio contained a typo but at this point it's difficult to gauge which. For what it's worth, his Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye profile sidesteps the issue entirely by identifying his melee weapon as an electro-spear.
