So, we're treating the United EX storyline as being in "Japanese cartoon continuity" but the Super God Masterforce comics as not? That really makes for a somewhat confusing reading order, as it upends chronological order pretty badly.--RosicrucianTalk 20:03, 26 December 2012 (EST)

I think it is because Masterforce manga is somehow a minor/variant continuity while most of the Japanese Transformers fiction treat anime version a canon, perhaps? --<span style= "color:#00FA9A">TX55</span><small><span style= "color:#0000CD">TALK</span></small> 22:04, 26 December 2012 (EST)

It's, uh, it's the same way we do everything. The manga ISN'T part of the cartoon continuity - its an alternate telling of its events. Thus it goes in a separate section from the stuff thats part of the cartoon continuity. You know, like putting Regeneration One under the Marvel header on many characters' pages, which puts it before lots of chronologically earlier stuff that goes under other headers. This isn't new. - Chris McFeely 04:12, 27 December 2012 (EST)

At present, Clouder is the only Masterforce character whose independent transtector does not yet have a redlink in a suite. What title should this page have? I assume the robot would be genuinely named "Doubleclouder" due to associating only with Destrons in his scant appearances as an independent individual. [[User:S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47|S.H.I.E.L.D. Fewer paint applications?

[edit]

Either the toy section is badly worded or it's flat-out wrong. All the shots I've seen of Doubleclouder have more paint applications (and a chromed chest).--RosicrucianTalk 22:32, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Suggesting moving page

[edit]

He is actually called Clouder. Doubleclouder is used when he bonded to the Transtector. Just like Shūta Gō is the real name and Goshooter is used when he bonded to the Transtector. --TX55TALK 04:18, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Confusing fiction order

[edit]

So, we're treating the United EX storyline as being in "Japanese cartoon continuity" but the Super God Masterforce comics as not? That really makes for a somewhat confusing reading order, as it upends chronological order pretty badly.--RosicrucianTalk 20:03, 26 December 2012 (EST)

I think it is because Masterforce manga is somehow a minor/variant continuity while most of the Japanese Transformers fiction treat anime version a canon, perhaps? --TX55TALK 22:04, 26 December 2012 (EST)

I'm aware, it just particularly clashes in this case and I'm not sure why we decided a pack-in story is branching off of the cartoon in particular.--RosicrucianTalk 10:26, 27 December 2012 (EST)
Because it's designed to be part of the cartoon continuity and features loads of references and callbacks to it. - Chris McFeely 10:32, 27 December 2012 (EST)

Transtector character

[edit]

At present, Clouder is the only Masterforce character whose independent transtector does not yet have a redlink in a suite. What title should this page have? I assume the robot would be genuinely named "Doubleclouder" due to associating only with Destrons in his scant appearances as an independent individual. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 15:47, 22 April 2022 (EDT)

It would be Doubleclouder and only a Decepticon, yeah. Saix (talk) 15:55, 22 April 2022 (EDT)
