This subject of this article goes by multiple names that apply to other articles as well. See Dan (disambiguation), Johnson (disambiguation).
The man who killed Reflector.

Daniel Warren Johnson (born March 23, 1987) is an American comic book writer and artist based in Chicago, Illinois. After breaking onto the scene with his self-published webcomic Space Mullet, Johnson gained wider notoriety with his 2017 series Extremity, which also marked the beginning of his collaboration with frequent colorist Mike Spicer and Skybound Entertainment, both of whom he would continue working with for his subsequent series Murder Falcon and the Eisner Award-winning Do A Powerbomb. He has also worked on such titles as Beta Ray Bill for Marvel Comics and Wonder Woman: Dead Earth and Jurassic League (with Juan Gedeon) for DC Comics.

In 2023, Johnson and Spicer returned to Skybound to helm the new Transformers series as part of their Energon Universe. On July 26, 2024, Johnson won two Eisner Awards (Best Writer/Artist and Best Continuing Series) for his work on Transformers, becoming the first author to receive this recognition for his involvement in the franchise.
