[edit]Liege Maximo used his darts to poison Unicron during the Thirteen's war with the Chaos-Bringer, although they didn't hurt Unicron nearly as much as Maximo's acid tongue. The Covenant of Primus

- The Liegian Darts originated as part of the so-called "Binder of Revelation"—an internal Hasbro document designed to align brand storytelling—and at the time they didn't seem to be taken from any of the Liege Maximo's previous (scant) appearances in fiction. Rather, it seems they were derived from a Geoff Senior illustration of the Liege Maximo produced for the unofficial "Alignment" story, as seen at right, which depicts the titanic Maximo sending forth three pointed spacecraft from his palm. Notably, this piece was reprinted in an official capacity in Transformers: The Ultimate Guide, a book which became the de facto reference text for the franchise for years afterwards.
