- Micromaster Combiner Transports are vehicles from the toyline portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Micromaster Combiner Transports allow the tiny Micromasters to bring in the heavy artillery. These Transports are transformable battle rigs, which can be towed into combat by a pair of Micromaster Combiners who link up to the front and back end of the rig, and man the rig once it is converted to its battle station mode. The trailers have a further surprise: each can split in two, becoming a pair of independent mobile artillery pieces.
Each Transport is commanded by a specific pair of Micromaster Combiners, though given their shared connection designs, it may well be that any Micromaster Combiner could link up to them.
Commercial appearances
[edit]Like most sublines of the time, the Combiner Transports got their own 1990 commercial spot. In animation, Cement-Head and Terror-Tread are seen driving the Cannon Transport into battle in the desert, splitting off from it and transforming as the rig converts to its combined base mode and opens fire.
Toys
[edit]The Transformers
[edit]
- Missile Launcher with Retro and Surge (1990)
- Tanker Truck with Pipeline and Gusher (1990)
- Cannon Transport with Terror-Tread and Cement-Head (1990)
- The Micromaster Transports were sold boxed, with two Micromasters and a single transport between them. The six Micromasters were redecos of molds that were sold simultaneously as members of the Constructor Squad. Each trailer features front and back connection points, allowing Micromaster Combiners to plug into them in vehicle form. The trailers convert into stationary battle platforms, featuring ramps that allow them to connect to each other and to the other Micromaster bases.
- Each trailer can also split into two independent wheeled vehicles, each with a "driver" compartment large enough for a single Micromaster.
