Sorry, but they honestly do not look similar at all outside of having similar jet modes. Plus, the note is speculative.

* Revenge of the Fallen Thrust was developed independently of the on-screen character, yet shares the same article for simplicity and because both of them are portrayed as Decepticon jets with conehead-like aesthetics, much like Generation 1 Thrust.
* In a rare bit of non-G1 homaging, Bumblebee Thrust takes his green color scheme from his Armada incarnation instead.
* During the Cybertron scenes of Bumblebee, Thrust's onscreen design is used for numerous generic Seekers, with one being blasted from afar by Optimus Prime and another being bowled over by Bumblebee/B-127. Trying to distinguish which Seekers appeared in Bumblebee only continues to get harder with each watch. His Studio Series toy bio specifically states that the real Thrust is the green-and-grey coneheaded Seeker who joins Starscream in "blast[ing] the Autobot[s'] launchpad with missile fire to stop their escape from Cybertron".
* Some Bumblebee Thrusts  use the integrated arm cannon while others use large rifles similar to ones used by the Autobots.

The name or term "Thrust" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Thrust (disambiguation).
Thrust is a Decepticon from the movie continuity family.
G1 Thrust was primarily green and light grey, right?

Lieutenant Thrust is in charge of the lighter long-range Decepticons. Which works out great for him, because it means he can send them out on dangerous missions. This way he doesn't have to get up close and personal with the Autobots himself.

Indeed, Thrust can be a colossal coward. He's as "brave" as they come when it comes to terrorizing unarmed humans, but once even a decently-armed human force comes into play, let alone fully-armed Autobots, Thrust is off like a shot. He has no intention of hanging around and getting killed.[1]

Revenge of the Fallen

[edit]
I am adorable and I will kill you!
 • Thrust (Deluxe Class, 2009)
Part of the seventh wave of Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe Class toys, Thrust is a retool and redeco of Revenge Breakaway with a new head, transforming into an approximation of an F-35 Lightning II/Joint Strike Fighter. His right arm features a rotary cannon with a rotating barrel, activated by a gear-wheel embedded in his forearm. His Mech Alive gimmick is located in his upper arms; turning his forearms makes the machinery inside his biceps turn in time. Thrust does have a waist joint but turning it is impossible because the tail fin (attached to his waist) tabs into his back. Surprisingly, unlike most Deluxe Class jet figures, he actually has rolling landing gear.
Thrust was initially released with the standard Decepticon symbol tampographed on his wings and fuselage. A running change was made, correcting these with the movie style Decepticon symbol.
This mold was redecoed and further retooled into Dark of the Moon Air Raid.

Transformers (2010)

This Target-exclusive Transformers multi-pack contains a low-visibility camouflage redeco of Thrust and an electric blue/bright yellow redeco of "Movie Preview" Revenge of the Fallen Bumblebee.

Studio Series

[edit]
I am not adorable and it's unknown if I'll kill or be killed!
 • Thrust (Voyager Class, 2021)
 • Movie: Bumblebee
 • Hasbro ID number: 76
 • TakaraTomy ID number: SS-73
 • TakaraTomy release date: February 26, 2022
 • Accessories: arm cannon, 2 Null Rays, "Cybertron Falls" backdrop (1st version)
 • Known designers: Sam Smith (Hasbro),[2] Takashi Kunihiro (TakaraTomy)[3]
Studio Series Thrust is a retool of the third Starscream from the same line, transforming from a robot based on his appearance in Bumblebee into a Cybertronian tetrajet in 30 steps. He uses a slightly upscaled version of Studio Series Blitzwing's head and has new chest pieces with a conehead cowl surrounding his neck and head. This does heavily limit his head articulation, however.
Thrust comes with a handheld cannon, two wing-mounted Null Rays evocative of his Generation 1 namesake, and a cardboard backdrop display depicting a war-torn Cybertron as it appears in the beginning of the film. The cannon has no robot mode storage but forms the underslung weaponry in vehicle mode. The Null Rays are meant to be moved to rectangular slots in vehicle mode, though they can be left in the 5mm ports.
Thrust's instructions still show his arms tabbing together using non-existent tabs for vehicle mode. His instructions also still use Starscream's model (but with the updated head), missing the new conehead cowl parts and having the wingtips pointing up in robot mode instead of down.
This toy can be repurposed as any of the generic green-and-grey conehead Seekers featured in Bumblebee. The mold was also used to make Thundercracker and Skywarp.

Notes

[edit]
 • Revenge of the Fallen Thrust was developed independently of the on-screen character, yet shares the same article for simplicity and because both of them are portrayed as Decepticon jets with conehead-like aesthetics, much like Generation 1 Thrust.
 • In a rare bit of non-G1 homaging, Bumblebee Thrust takes his green color scheme from his Armada incarnation instead.
 • During the Cybertron scenes of Bumblebee, Thrust's onscreen design is used for numerous generic Seekers, with one being blasted from afar by Optimus Prime and another being bowled over by Bumblebee/B-127.
 • Some Bumblebee Thrusts use the integrated arm cannon while others use large rifles similar to ones used by the Autobots.
