Optimus Prime dies a lot. Taking that into consideration, there have been a number of memorials constructed to honor his memory. These memorials exist on a number of planets where his influence was felt the most.

Exactly what happens to these memorials when Prime inevitably returns to life is anybody's guess.

The Transformers cartoon

[edit]

In some American Earth city, television reporter Marty Minkler was interviewing Jazz and Cliffjumper at the unveiling ceremony for the Optimus Prime Memorial when Starscream and his newly recruited army of Combaticons attacked, taking the two Autobots prisoner. Oddly this memorial was unveiled 20 years before Optimus Prime actually died. The statue was badly damaged from Swindle's weapon fire. Starscream's Brigade

Although not dedicated to him specifically, Optimus Prime was among the many interred in the Autobot Mausoleum, which included a memorial called the Veil of Remembrance. The memorial recognized all those lost during the Great War, Optimus included. At least until he came back as a zombie. Dark Awakening

After Optimus Prime was really dead, another memorial was constructed in his honor, this time within Autobot City on Earth. Rodimus Prime could be found moping about the statue, asking the stone representation of Prime why he kept seeing him in his dreams. The statue never responded, so far as anyone knows. The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 1

The Headmasters comic

[edit]

After Optimus Prime died for the third time, yet another memorial was built in his honor. This time, it was constructed on the Autobot base planet of Athenia. Depressingly, only Rodimus Prime, Chromedome, Hardhead, Brainstorm, and Highbrow attended the unveiling of the statue. Likely, with this being the third statue unveiling, the ceremonies had probably grown dull and passé. The Headmasters #1

Super-God Masterforce comic

[edit]

Later, for the appointment of Ginrai as Supreme Commander of the Autobots by Fortress, the ceremony was held beneath the statue of Optimus Prime on Athenia. The Battle Begins! The Earth-Space Alliance Army

Marvel The Transformers comic

[edit]

Optimus Prime was honored on the Wall of Fame alongside other Autobots when he was thought dead for four million years. The Smelting Pool!

Beast Era

[edit]

Theft of the Golden Disk

[edit]

On planet Cybertron, a large statue of Optimus Prime could be found decorating the outside of the Cybertropolis Maximal Data Archive. Central Branch, to be precise. Theft of the Golden Disk

Beast Machines cartoon

[edit]

Also on Cybertron, another large Optimus Prime statue could be seen outside the Cybertron Archives. Flaunting a Golden Disk in each hand, the statue was eventually shot down and destroyed by Vehicon drones. Fires of the Past

In the ruined subterranean city of Iacon, Optimus Primal and Nightscream stumbled upon a holographic tribute to Optimus Prime. Megatron later used the memorial to trick Primal into giving up information on the Oracle. Sparkwar Pt. II: The Search

2015 Robots in Disguise cartoon

Years after the restoration of Cybertron, statues of the Thirteen, including the deceased hero Optimus Prime, had been constructed in a park in Kaon near the Cybertron History Museum. Unfortunately, the Optimus statue was accidentally brought down by the antics of Sideswipe. Pilot (Part 1)
