Continuity errors
[edit]- Tigerbreast and Eaglebreast appeared to be disabled by Star Saber's "Psycho Missiles", but a brief moment later, Deathsaurus was wearing them again as a breastplate.
- Deathsaurus appeared to be dead at the end and yet he didn't turn grey. Much like another time. This is especially noticable as Liokaiser also dies in this episode and he does turn grey.
Transformers references
[edit]- Deathsaurus's fortress was reactivated and the Brainmasters and Victory Saber were injured in the previous episode.
- The Dinoforce were abandoned on Earth by Deathsaurus in "The Terror of the Giant Tidal Waves".
Real world references
[edit]- When Deathsaurus engages Star Saber within the fortress, he accuses Star Saber of "entering my castle with your shoes on," referring, of course, to the Japanese custom of taking one's shoes off upon entering someone's home.
Trivia
[edit]- Although this episode is the final installment of the ongoing Victory storyline, it is not the final episode of the series. One further clip show was aired the following week as the final broadcast episode of the series, and a further six were released directly to video.
- It seems like Liokaiser should have known to avoid contact with the space fortress's cannon barrel, but no, he makes no attempt to avoid it.
- Deathsaurus is noticeably leaking dark fluids from his eye and body towards his final astro-minutes, suggesting bleeding out.
- For the first time since the first installment of the series, this episode does not feature a preview of its content before the title card, instead including the first half-minute of the story.
