Synopsis

Carter Newell descends further and further into insanity, intent on using the facsimile AllSpark to exterminate all Transformer life, beginning with Optimus Prime and his Autobots. Outside the Initiative base, the Autobots struggle in their battle against the Initiative-controlled Autobots and Decepticons; unable to fight to their fullest extent due to their unwillingness to hurt their friends, they are forced instead to subdue them, allowing Ratchet to cut them off from the controlling energies of the artificial AllSpark.
With the AllSpark entering meltdown due to Carter's misuse of it, Hank Kirkpatrick attempts to stop the madman, only to have Carter blast him with the AllSpark's energies, reducing him to a pile of smoking bones. - Tankor is now colored blue, although it's not a particularly close match for his toy.
- Blazemaster is inconsistent from panel to panel—sometimes blue, sometimes blue and gold.
- Brawn starts out in the dark green and yellow of his Generation 1 counterpart, then loses the yellow for the rest of the issue.
