| The name or term "Armorhide" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Armorhide (disambiguation). |
- Armorhide is an Autobot-allied Mini-Con from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Armorhide is often mistaken for being a big dumb bruiser due to his large (for a Mini-Con) stature, his incredible strength and durability, and the ability to take down "Bulks" on his own. This hurts him deeply, because underneath that hard-as-nails exterior runs a high-speed processor with a database crammed full of military history, philosophy, literature both ancient and modern, and any number of sciences.
In fact, Armorhide is smarter and more learned than just about any three random robots you'd care to name put together. But in a time of war, it's his physical abilities that seem to be what people remember, so he's gained a reputation as being little more than a tough-bot. To Armorhide, this is gravely insulting, and though he never actually shirks his duty in battle, he does get sullen. His partner Rhinox, himself someone smarter than his physical stature suggests, tries to boost the Mini-Con's confidence, but in the midst of a battle, Armorhide often mistakes Rhinox's loud and forceful command style for condescension.

[edit]- Rhinox with Armorhide (Super-Con, 2003)
- Takara release date: June ??, 2003
- Available only with his larger partner Armada Rhinox, Armorhide is a redeco of the Adventure Mini-Con Team member Iceberg, transforming into a tracked snow groomer with a serrated plow and movable crane-arm. As a Mini-Con, he has a "Powerlinx" socket on his vehicle-mode underside (which ends up on his robot-mode butt) which allows him to attach to any toy with a "Powerlinx" style 5 mm post; some toys have special Powerlinx posts that activate/unlock gimmicks when a Mini-Con is attached.
- A gear-wheel mechanism on his vehicle-mode underside makes the outer sections of his plow scissor inward slightly when he is rolled along a smooth surface. This feature can also be activated by attaching him to the gear-wheel mechanism on the underside of the Armada Cyclonus mold.
- As a hasty addition to the Armada toyline to meet demand, Rhinox was not available in Takara's normal retail Legend of the Microns line. He was, however, offered in Japan as a "USA Edition" release, exclusive to JUSCO stores.
- This mold was also used to make Scattorbrain and Spoil.
