| This article is about the Maximal. For the Transcendent Technomorph, see Rapticon (TransTech). |
- Rapticon is a Maximal Dinobot from the Beast Machines portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Rapticon is big, strong, fast, and really smart. He's basically the overpowered self-insertion character in any fan fiction. He has unmatched precision and success, can immediately pick out the weak spot in an enemy formation, can smash anything with his tail and has a roar that can permanently damage Vehicons. Annoying, isn't it?
He's also a smug, superior smart-ass.
