- NUL-A is a mechanoid of unknown provenance from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

NUL-A is a giant robot who leads a lonely existence running a junkyard. The junkyard may be in New York; NUL-A seems to be a big fan of the Yankees—or maybe that's just the only giant robot baseball cap he could find. Either way he loves baseball.

[edit]The Transformers cartoon
[edit]- Voice actor: Charlie Adler (English), ? (Japanese), Thomas Rau (German), Ulf Jürgen Söhmisch (German, Generation 2 Dub), Orlando Drummond (Brazilian Portuguese)
When First Aid briefly suffered a crisis of faith about his contributions to the Protectobots, he left the Autobots and sought refuge in NUL-A's junkyard. NUL-A was happy to have the company, since not a lot of people hang around the dump. First Aid was eventually convinced to return to the Autobots to perform the reinstallation of a transformation cog into Metroplex, but not before he cleaned the place up a little. It may be that NUL-A had all kinds of visitors after that.
But probably not. The Ultimate Weapon
Unite Warriors
[edit]First Aid and the other Protectobots celebrated NUL-A's birthday by letting him watch a Transformer-scaled baseball match between the five of them. Today Is First Aid's Close Friend NUL-A's Birthday!
Kre-O online manga
[edit]
After being asked to by Megatron, the Autobots attacked the Decepticon Base and chased away Vortex. In thanks, Megatron hosted a gathering in the base, which NUL-A attended. A Reliable Warrior!? Vortex the Lookout from Hell
Notes
[edit]- It is unclear what species of robot NUL-A is, as his speech and mannerisms clearly demonstrate him to be sapient rather than some kind of human-built drone.
- NUL-A mentions Wreck-Gar briefly, suggesting that he has at least heard of the Junkion leader. Considering his choice of homes, this is perhaps not unusual.
