This article is about Real Gear Robot. For the Beast Wars Neo roleplay toy, see Spy Shot & Claw Gun.
Spy Shot 6 is an Autobot Real Gear Robot from the Transformers portion of the movie continuity family.
Camera alternate mode: now possible with just one robot. Wave of the future, dude.

Spy Shot 6 is one of many small robots who was once a normal machine brought to life by the power of the AllSpark. In stark contrast to his colleague Speed Dial 800, Spy Shot hasn't got time for the jibba-jabba. Well, he does, he just doesn't waste time on talk. He'd rather stay silent and record every last detail he can on the Decepticons, and relay picture-perfect descriptions to his commanders.

Transformers (2007)

[edit]
  • Spy Shot 6 (Real Gear Robots, 2007)
Part of the first wave of Transformers Real Gear Robots, Spy Shot 6 transforms into a (non-functional) digital camera at a roughly 1:1 scale. The camera's shutter button clicks merrily when pressed. The camera's viewfinder is transparent, but far too small and blurry to actually see through.
There is a significant difference between the Hasbro and Takara releases of this toy. The Hasbro version's screen is a sticker featuring a picture of Cybertron Ransack's show-model, taken at 7:47 (July 4, 2007, the film's original release date) with an F-stop of 8.2 in "fine" mode. The Takara version, on the other hand, shows a close-up of the movieverse's Optimus Prime.
This mold was also used to make Photon T-34, and was the basis for Shattered Glass Reflector.

  • Robo Recon Team (Multi-pack, 2007)
Spy Shot 6 was also available in a Walmart exclusive two-pack with Longview. Both toys are identical to their single-pack versions.
