The true identity of Firefly is shrouded in mystery. Not even Cobra Commander, the mercenary's most common employer, knows his real name or true appearance. Only one thing is certain with Firefly: he's very good at blowing things up.

The two traveled there on Flight Pods, before using Cybertronian cloaking technology to turn invisible and effortlessly infiltrate the facility. While Zartan stole a piece of technology, Firefly planted explosive charges that would distract G.I. Joe from following them as they escaped.
