Revenge of the Fallen is a mobile phone game release to tie in with Revenge of the Fallen as a sequel to their Transformers game which tied in to the first movie. It is a platformer in which the player controls Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. The story is a simplified version of the film's plot.
Gameplay
[edit]For each mission, the user controls either Optimus or Bumblebee using the numeric keys on the device. 4 and 6 steer left and right, 8 jumps or transforms to robot mode, 2 transforms to vehicle mode, 5 attacks or interacts with objects in the location. Optimus has only melee attacks, 5 will deliver a punch and pressing an indicated direction key while punching will execute a special melee attack, such as impaling the opponent on his energon sword. Optimus can also haul himself up onto higher platforms. Bumblebee can melee attack and use his blaster. Pressing 0 as Bumblebee will allow a targeted shot with his blaster, though he is limited to 3 of these unless he can find a recharge. Both Autobots can push boxes while in their vehicle mode to navigate certain puzzles.
