The Dead End Drone is a type of Mini-Con from the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
HI, MY NAME IS DAN

Dead End Drones are copies of the Mini-Con Dead End, produced in the thousands by Unicron. Non-sentient drones, Unicron's abilities allow him to coordinate thousands simultaneously, using them as a defensive system that swarms any force that would try to invade the monster planet.

Later, using schematics of the drones from Unicron's datatrax, Galvatron would use Gigantion's factories to build his own forces of Dead Ends, "commanded" by Dead End General units.[1]

Galaxy Force "Bug Drone" uses the same base plastic colors as the Armada Mini-Con Dead End, transforming into a "moon" with a large blaster. The Drone is distinguished by silver paint on the moon's sides that Dead End lacks, plus the "cheek" paint that's bright metallic red on Dead End is now super-dark glossy nigh-black red on the Drone.
Available only as part of the Galaxy Force-themed fourth Micron Booster assortment in Japan, Bug Drone came in a "blind-packed" box that prevented the buyer from knowing the contents of the box until it was opened.
This mold is also used by Bug General and Kranix.

Notes

[edit]
  • The Dead End Drones get their only fictional robot mode appearance within the cartoon continuity in the Linkage manga.

Foreign names
