Seattle's Fort Lewis was the site chosen for the activation of Power Station Alpha, which was overseen by congresspeople, guarded by G.I. Joe, protested by anti-nuclear-power demonstrators, menaced by Dreadnoks, infiltrated by Bombshell, and ultimately stolen by Cobra. And in the middle of all that, it was also the site of Bumblebee's fateful destruction. However, the hapless Autobot's life was saved by the happy coincidence that G.B. Blackrock was enjoying a pleasure cruise in the area. When the industrialist's boat was the random victim of Cobra fighter-jet fire, the Joes who rescued him happened to bring the Transformers up in conversation, and he quickly volunteered his help. At Fort Lewis, he convinced them that Bumblebee was an ally worth rebuilding, which they did — into Goldbug. G.I. Joe and the Transformers

When Megatron brought the Key to Vector Sigma to Earth, he began experimenting with it in an area identified by Teletraan I as "20 miles west of Seattle-Tacoma." The ensuing battle threatened a nearby city, though it's unknown if it was Seattle, Tacoma, or even another. The Key to Vector Sigma, Part 2

"Seattle-Tacoma" may refer to the area in the real world called "SeaTac", which would become a city of its own five years after the episode was aired. Twenty miles west (more or less) is the edge of the Olympic National Forest, which is consistent with the evergreen forest Megatron begins cyberforming with the Key. If that geography holds true, then the city seen in the battle could not be SeaTac, Seattle, or Tacoma, as the three are separated from the Olympic Peninsula by Puget Sound.

Having recently arrived on Earth, Rom caught wind up of the project thanks to Camilla Byers's Wraithmark allowing her to hear the thoughts of a Wraith Soldier and the project in Seattle. After parting ways with Darby Mason, Rom and Camilla set out for the city. Earthfall, Part 4

After depositing the human on the Space Needle, the Space Knight engaged but was initially hesitant to use his full power viewing Axiom as a victim allowing the hybrid supersoldier to toss the Knight around the docks. It was only when Axiom threatened to kill Camilla did Rom stop holding back and easily defeat Axiom preparing to execute the creature before it was teleported away. Camilla had heard the Wraiths communicating with Axiom however and pegged Joe Colton as its creator, prompting the two to leave Seattle so Rom could slay the General. Field Test

After Leonard Song had hit on the idea to exploit Rom's connection to the internet to assume control of his armor, Reinforcements, Part 3 Dubosky sent him to Seattle to meet with Caleb Awan and Axiom. After some "motivation", Caleb and Axiom were able to get the remote control interface working. Interlude
