Battle Beneath the Ice

[edit]

Neil was traveling on a ship to Fossil Bluff Station, along with Jeff Grey and Bill Gordon. When Jeff pointed out the rather obvious base in the distance, Neil found the opportunity to employ his sarcasm. On arrival, they found everyone had headed out to investigate a discovery at the oil field, so Neil, Jeff and Bill hopped on a plane full of scientists that was also heading there. The plane was unexpected shot down, but the trio were among the few survivors, also including the Autobot Hot Rod. Though Hot Rod was able to keep them warm for a while, Neil worried that the Autobot's circuits would overheat, however the group had a timely rescue by a trio of city-dwellers and were taken to an underground city.

After meeting the city-dweller leader The Watcher and taking a tour, Neil and the others ended up in a lounge. Neil was handed a cup of coffee, but it was so hot he dropped it on the food machine, short-circuiting it. He was left wondering why the cup hadn't scalded their guide. While the others continued the tour, Neil stayed in the lounge, and was still there when Jeff arrived with the news they'd discovered the city-dwellers were robots. The Decepticon Ravage filled them in on the city-dweller plan to conquer Earth, and the small group worked together to stop the Watcher and his men. Battle Beneath the Ice
