Overview
[edit]The story revolves around the Super Stunt Team as they awaken on Earth and fight to free the Mini-Cons from their dark creator. They find an ally in Stella Holley, a human who helps them acclimate to Earth and accomplish their goals. As they recover more of their old friends, they must prepare to take the battle to Unicron, leaving Earth and their new ally behind.
Linkage is notable for weaving a complex background and behind-the-scenes story for the Mini-Cons of the Armada cartoon, while working seamlessly within the bounds of the cartoon. In fact, some fans find Linkage to be quite a bit more sophisticated and enjoyable than the TV show on which it was based. Its clean art and designs also provided something of a contrast with the Dreamwave Productions comics being published at the time.
