This was a consequence of the belief that Big Convoy hailed from the same time period as [[Optimus Primal]] and the other Beast Warriors who travelled back in time to prehistoric Earth; in actuality, per [[TakaraTomy|Takara]]'s [[Generation 1 cartoon timeline (Japan)|2007 Japanese Generation 1 cartoon timeline]], they hail from tens of thousands of years further into the future.
