Far from the [[Metropolis]] of [[Cloud World]] is the [[Underground (cloud)|Underground]], a battle-torn land abandoned by civilized society. Above the [[Colosseum (Cloud)|Colosseum]] where [[Megatron (Cloud)|Megatron]] declared the establishment of the [[Decepticon]]s, [[Astrotrain (Cloud)|Astrotrain]] arrives, with [[Starscream (Cloud)|Starscream]] and the assorted rogues sent to rescue him. They are greeted by interim Decepticon leader [[Shockwave (Cloud)|Shockwave]], who has returned to the badlands by his own damaged, [[circuit speeder]]-impacted self; he bids the arrogant Starscream to approach. The Seeker is all too happy to walk forward into what he believes to be his ascension to Decepticon leadership, only to be led to a room with a strange device with a Transformer-sized capsule. Starscream can only let out a confused question before being mightily kicked into the capsule by Astrotrain, still seething over Starscream killing his friend, [[Blitzwing (Cloud)|Blitzwing]]. Starscream realizes too late that the device is a [[dimension gate]] [[Spatiotemporal Transfer System|generator]], meant to extract the remnant energy of [[SARA]] still within Starscream. He screams in pain as Shockwave activates the device, and the cold cyclops only watches on as the traitor falls unconsciousness. It'll take a while for the device to open a portal. [[Soundwave (Cloud)|Soundwave]] enters and informs his leader that [[Laserbeak (Cloud)|Laserbeak]] has spotted the [[Autobot]]s drawing closer.
Earlier, the Autobots at their garrison base organize for a strike against the Decepticons, using [[SARA]]'s energy within Starscream as a beacon. SARA begs [[Optimus Prime (Cloud)|Optimus Prime]] and [[Hot Rodimus]] to allow her to accompany them. Rodimus refuses, but Optimus considers her words, reasoning that she would be safer than left alone in Metropolis, and her dimension gates could come in handy.
The battle begins with aplomb at the Colosseum. While warriors like [[Deadlock (Cloud)|Deadlock]] and [[Ironhide (Cloud)|Ironhide]] tussle, Hot Rodimus searches for Shockwave with SARA. Some Decepticons open fire on Rodimus, but SARA, using [[Chōkon Power]] and [[energon]] acquired from her travels throughout the [[Multiverse|Spacetime World]] is able to project a barrier to protect her friend. [[Brawn (Cloud)|Brawn]] arrives to the two's location, and is entrusted with protecting SARA while Rodimus hunts down Shockwave. The malcontent [[Grimlock (Cloud)|Dinobot]] attacks, and Brawn faces him off. Deeper into the complex, Optimus Prime and Hot Rodimus finally find Shockwave and Soundwave, but they're prepared for a fight. Shockwave fires off light bombs while Soundwave sics his data disk minions. As Optimus tries to deliver battle tactics, the room suddenly explodes in light, revealing an open dimension gate! Shockwave tries to make a move, but Rodimus stands in his way... Always undeterred and unrestrained, Shockwave viciously attacks the Autobot.
Above ground, Ironhide wonders just why Deadlock is so passionately invested in killing Autobots before knocking his lights out with a well-placed punch. Dinobot attempts to gnaw through Brawn's innards, but SARA, seeing the gentle heart hidden underneath the "slaughter machine", shows the dinosaur compassion. Dinobot responds affirmingly, but is shocked into obedience by a demanding Astrotrain using the shock collar around his neck. SARA destroys the collar, and Brawn punches the cruel Decepticon into the horizon. Seeing who his true friends are, Dinobot joins the Autobots in the battle against their enemies.
Shockwave struggles against Hot Rodimus to access the dimension gate to retrieve Megatron from his universal prison while Optimus takes care of Soundwave and his minions. Rodimus asks his now-nemesis just ''why'' a capable schemer like him wants to serve Megatron. The Decepticon explains simply: his rule will bring the peace the entire Spacetime World needs. Simply logical. Through some keen maneuvering, Rodimus finally stabs Shockwave with his bayonet. Smugly, Rodimus thinks it's all done, since Shockwave can't use the dimension gate himself, but the cold robot points out the obvious—he doesn't need to use it himself. Megatron can go through the gate on his own.
As Shockwave mocks the Autobots, Megatron emerges from the gate. No longer the rageful Transformer he was before, Megatron has endured four million years in a spacetime of nothingness. Upon his subordinate's offer, Megatron channels his power through Shockwave's Blaster mode, creating an intense and large beam of light that shoots through the earth to the sky, heralding the return of Cloud World's greatest tyrant...

The Autobots struggle to stop Shockwave from recovering Megatron.

Synopsis

Far from the Metropolis of Cloud World is the Underground, a battle-torn land abandoned by civilized society. Above the Colosseum where Megatron declared the establishment of the Decepticons, Astrotrain arrives, with Starscream and the assorted rogues sent to rescue him. They are greeted by interim Decepticon leader Shockwave, who has returned to the badlands by his own damaged, circuit speeder-impacted self; he bids the arrogant Starscream to approach. The Seeker is all too happy to walk forward into what he believes to be his ascension to Decepticon leadership, only to be led to a room with a strange device with a Transformer-sized capsule. Starscream can only let out a confused question before being mightily kicked into the capsule by Astrotrain, still seething over Starscream killing his friend, Blitzwing. Starscream realizes too late that the device is a dimension gate generator, meant to extract the remnant energy of SARA still within Starscream. He screams in pain as Shockwave activates the device, and the cold cyclops only watches on as the traitor falls unconsciousness. It'll take a while for the device to open a portal. Soundwave enters and informs his leader that Laserbeak has spotted the Autobots drawing closer.

Earlier, the Autobots at their garrison base organize for a strike against the Decepticons, using SARA's energy within Starscream as a beacon. SARA begs Optimus Prime and Hot Rodimus to allow her to accompany them. Rodimus refuses, but Optimus considers her words, reasoning that she would be safer than left alone in Metropolis, and her dimension gates could come in handy.

The battle begins with aplomb at the Colosseum. While warriors like Deadlock and Ironhide tussle, Hot Rodimus searches for Shockwave with SARA. Some Decepticons open fire on Rodimus, but SARA, using Chōkon Power and energon acquired from her travels throughout the Spacetime World is able to project a barrier to protect her friend. Brawn arrives to the two's location, and is entrusted with protecting SARA while Rodimus hunts down Shockwave. The malcontent Dinobot attacks, and Brawn faces him off. Deeper into the complex, Optimus Prime and Hot Rodimus finally find Shockwave and Soundwave, but they're prepared for a fight. Shockwave fires off light bombs while Soundwave sics his data disk minions. As Optimus tries to deliver battle tactics, the room suddenly explodes in light, revealing an open dimension gate! Shockwave tries to make a move, but Rodimus stands in his way... Always undeterred and unrestrained, Shockwave viciously attacks the Autobot.

Above ground, Ironhide wonders just why Deadlock is so passionately invested in killing Autobots before knocking his lights out with a well-placed punch. Dinobot attempts to gnaw through Brawn's innards, but SARA, seeing the gentle heart hidden underneath the "slaughter machine", shows the dinosaur compassion. Dinobot responds affirmingly, but is shocked into obedience by a demanding Astrotrain using the shock collar around his neck. SARA destroys the collar, and Brawn punches the cruel Decepticon into the horizon. Seeing who his true friends are, Dinobot joins the Autobots in the battle against their enemies.

Shockwave struggles against Hot Rodimus to access the dimension gate to retrieve Megatron from his universal prison while Optimus takes care of Soundwave and his minions. Rodimus asks his now-nemesis just why a capable schemer like him wants to serve Megatron. The Decepticon explains simply: his rule will bring the peace the entire Spacetime World needs. Simply logical. Through some keen maneuvering, Rodimus finally stabs Shockwave with his bayonet. Smugly, Rodimus thinks it's all done, since Shockwave can't use the dimension gate himself, but the cold robot points out the obvious—he doesn't need to use it himself. Megatron can go through the gate on his own.

As Shockwave mocks the Autobots, Megatron emerges from the gate. No longer the rageful Transformer he was before, Megatron has endured four million years in a spacetime of nothingness. Upon his subordinate's offer, Megatron channels his power through Shockwave's Blaster mode, creating an intense and large beam of light that shoots through the earth to the sky, heralding the return of Cloud World's greatest tyrant...
