Terrorsaur's scheming powers up Scourge, who makes the most of it.

Synopsis

Scourge and the Sweeps, former enforcers of Galvatron, have been reduced to janitors in the Legends Universe. One day they're approached by Terrorsaur, manager of Decepticon Tera-Kura Co.'s assembly lines, who offers to mass-produce new bodies for them in exchange for a favor: kidnapping Alpha Trion.

While one Sweep succeeds, the crime is spotted and they're all brought to the police by Ai, but she can't figure out who to arrest since they're all identical. Scourge confesses to being the culprit, explaining that now that Alpha Trion is essentially the Matrix, he's placed the sage in his chest to make himself a million times stronger! He breaks out of captivity and flies to Tera-Kura, where he announces that he's in control now and will kill anyone who resists. Terrorsaur thanks him, revealing this was all part of his plan to take over the company, but the super-powered Scourge reneges on the deal and blasts him, refusing to share leadership with anyone. The Sweeps, however, argue that the Matrix's power belongs to all of them and swarm over their leader in an attempt to have him share it, with Sweep No. 7 managing to Head-On to another part of his body and force it to transform. The ensuing turmoil causes the Matrix energy to overload Scourge's body, which explodes (and is mistaken for fireworks by witnesses).

Alpha Trion, completely unscathed thanks to what he claims is "daily training", takes it upon himself to train the Sweeps in the janitorial arts. Scourge hasn't given up on his ambition, however—he knows that there exists an even greater power source than the Matrix known as the Zodiac, and someday it will be his...
