The Official Transformers: Generation 2 Annual
As part of a plan devised by Prowl, Slipstream and the other Autobots were stationed at Table Mountain in Africa to defend a newly discovered spaceship with the power to return them to Cybertron. He was astonished by the rapid arrival of the Decepticon ground forces, and converted to his racing car mode to confront them. But after a brief skirmish, the Autobots made themselves scarce and allowed the Decepticons to claim their prize. The Autobots then sprung their trap; the Decepticons were locked within the prop-ship, which blasted off uncontrollably away from the planet. Day of the Decepticons
Unite Warriors
Speedstream, with other Autobots, oversaw an attempt to wipe the Combatrons' Destronger programming. However, before they could be reprogrammed, Unicron interrupted the process and whisked away the Combatrons. Baldigus Chapter
Toys
Generation 1

- Speedstream (Aquaspeeder, 1993)
- Accessories: Water cannon
- Speedstream transforms into a blue and white Indy style race car, seemingly based on the Williams FW14. His front half is covered in temperature-sensitive paint, changing color when hit with warm water. His weapon is a single-barreled water pistol formed from his car-mode spoiler/engine.
- Speedstream was only available in various European markets during the two-year "transitional" period marking the changeover from the original toyline to Generation 2; in the original line's final year (1993), the toys were given redesigned Autobot and Decepticon symbols, but it wasn't until 1994 that "Generation 2" appeared on the packaging.
- This mold was also used to make the Generation 2 Decepticon Color Changer Deluge.
Generation 2
- Speedstream (Aquaspeeder, 1994)
- Accessories: Water cannon
- This release is identical to the original, only this time in packaging specifically branded Generation 2.
