- Medi-Vipers are humans from the G.I. Joe portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Even Cobra needs combat medics. The Medi-Vipers fulfill this role in the terrorist organization.
Fiction
Marvel Generation 2 comic
When Scarlett, posing as a member of Cobra, was stabbed by Snake-Eyes, a Medi-Viper informed the nearby Slice that she would quickly bleed out if not tended to. Slice had the Medi-Viper lead the way to an operating room, where she was patched up. Despite the Medi-Viper insisting that there was only a one-in-a-million chance that Scarlett's injuries could've been intentionally non-fatal, Slice was persuaded that her would-be assassin had deliberately let her live, so that Scarlett could maintain her cover.
